This 8-day, 7-night trip pairs Cairo sightseeing with a Nile cruise running Aswan to Luxor. After the Pyramids of Giza and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, a flight south reaches Aswan, where the High Dam and Philae Temple lead into cruise boarding. The ship sails to Kom Ombo to visit the twin temples dedicated to Sobek and Horus, then on to Edfu before reaching Luxor for the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut’s temple, and Karnak. A private Egyptologist guide, domestic transfers, and breakfast-included stays are included throughout, with return flights closing the loop back to Cairo.

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Arrive at Cairo International Airport where you will be met and assisted by our representative. Transfer to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. The rest of the day is free to settle in and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Cairo.

Day 2: Pyramids and Sphinx Tour

After breakfast, visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Learn about ancient Egyptian engineering and legends surrounding these monumental structures. In the afternoon, explore the Egyptian Museum before returning to your hotel.

Day 3: Fly to Aswan – Nile Cruise Embarkation

Transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and Philae Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. Embark on your Nile cruise and enjoy dinner on board as the ship docks overnight in Aswan.

Day 4: Aswan – Kom Ombo – Edfu

Sail to Kom Ombo and visit the twin temples dedicated to Sobek and Horus. Continue sailing to Edfu. Enjoy a leisurely evening on board with entertainment and dinner under the stars.

Day 5: Edfu – Luxor

After breakfast, take a horse carriage ride to visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples. Return to the cruise ship and sail toward Luxor. Enjoy afternoon tea and a relaxed evening on deck.

Day 6: Luxor West Bank Tour

Disembark to explore the West Bank of Luxor, including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to your cruise for lunch and a relaxing evening.

Day 7: Luxor East Bank – Fly to Cairo

Visit the magnificent Karnak and Luxor Temples. After the tour, transfer to Luxor Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure or optional dinner cruise on the Nile.

Day 8: Departure from Cairo

After breakfast, check out from your hotel. Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy some free time for last-minute shopping before transferring to Cairo International Airport for your departure.
