This 10-day, 9-night family holiday combines three days in Cairo with an Aswan-to-Luxor Nile cruise and a Red Sea stay in Hurghada. After the Pyramids of Giza, the Egyptian Museum, and Khan El Khalili Bazaar, the trip flies to Aswan to board the ship near the High Dam and Philae Temple, then sails north through Kom Ombo and Edfu to Luxor, where Karnak and Luxor Temples are followed by an evening light show and a West Bank visit to the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut. The final stretch moves to Hurghada for beach days built around snorkeling and glass-bottom boat trips.

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Arrive at Cairo International Airport where you’ll be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Check in and relax after your flight. Enjoy a welcome dinner and get a briefing about your upcoming adventure.

Day 2: Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx

After breakfast, visit the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Learn about ancient Egyptian history and enjoy family photo opportunities before returning to your hotel for an evening at leisure.

Day 3: Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo

Explore the Egyptian Museum to see treasures from Tutankhamun’s tomb. Later, wander through Old Cairo’s historic sites including the Hanging Church and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 4: Fly to Aswan and Nile Cruise Embarkation

Fly to Aswan, meet your guide, and start your Nile Cruise. Visit the High Dam, Philae Temple, and the unfinished obelisk before enjoying dinner on board and an evening at leisure.

Day 5: Kom Ombo and Edfu

Sail to Kom Ombo and visit the twin temples dedicated to Sobek and Horus. Continue sailing to Edfu and explore the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples. Overnight on the cruise.

Day 6: Luxor East Bank

Arrive in Luxor and explore the East Bank, visiting Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. In the evening, enjoy a light show or relax on the cruise deck watching the sunset over the Nile.

Day 7: Luxor West Bank and Transfer to Hurghada

Disembark and visit the Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, and Colossi of Memnon. After lunch, drive to the Red Sea resort of Hurghada. Check into your beachfront hotel.

Day 8: Hurghada Leisure and Beach Fun

Enjoy a full day of relaxation by the Red Sea. Families can choose from snorkeling, glass-bottom boat rides, or simply unwinding by the pool. Optional desert safari excursions are available.

Day 9: Hurghada Free Day

Spend another day at leisure. Take part in water sports, visit the local marina, or enjoy quality family time at the hotel’s beach. In the evening, savor a seaside dinner together.

Day 10: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Hurghada Airport for your flight to Cairo and onward journey home, taking with you wonderful memories of your Egypt family tour holidays.
