This 10-day, 9-night private tour runs from Cairo to a Luxor-to-Aswan Nile cruise and back, led by a private Egyptologist guide and driver. The first three days cover the Pyramids of Giza, the Egyptian Museum, and Old Cairo’s Citadel and bazaar before a flight to Luxor to board the ship and see Karnak and Luxor Temples, then the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut’s Temple on the West Bank. Sailing on to Aswan takes in the temples at Edfu and Kom Ombo, the High Dam, and Philae Temple, with a full-day add-on to Abu Simbel to see the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari before flying back to Cairo.

Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Arrive at Cairo International Airport where you will be greeted by your private representative. Transfer in comfort to your hotel for check-in and enjoy a relaxing evening in the vibrant city.

Day 2: Pyramids of Giza and Sphinx

Begin your private tour with the Great Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Learn about ancient construction techniques from your expert guide and enjoy a camel ride by the pyramids.

Day 3: Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo

Visit the world-renowned Egyptian Museum to view the treasures of Tutankhamun. Continue to Old Cairo, exploring the Citadel, the Hanging Church, and Khan El Khalili bazaar.

Day 4: Fly to Luxor and Nile Cruise Embarkation

Fly to Luxor and board your luxury Nile cruise. Visit Karnak and Luxor Temples before enjoying dinner on board as your cruise begins its journey along the Nile.

Day 5: Valley of the Kings and Queen Hatshepsut Temple

Explore the West Bank’s Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon with your private guide, then sail toward Edfu.

Day 6: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples

Visit Edfu Temple dedicated to Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples. Continue sailing to Kom Ombo to explore the unique twin temples dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris.

Day 7: Aswan Sightseeing

Arrive in Aswan and visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk, and the beautiful Philae Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. Enjoy a felucca ride on the Nile.

Day 8: Abu Simbel Excursion

Day 9: Fly Back to Cairo
